We successfully made it to and from the cottage this past week! The kids had a great time and so did I! Cooper was a bit "clingy", but I still enjoyed the peaceful environment of the cottage. Every time I go, it is amazing how much I relax to the sound of the lake! WOW! Anyways...thought I would include a few pictures for you.

There is a monster in my room
Miss Kylie Mae has had a VERY difficult time sleeping the past few weeks. She comes out of her room between 5 and 10 times before she actually falls asleep and has been waking up around midnight again for a few hours on and off! We have attempted to bribe her with a reward and have taken privillages away, but nothing seems to work. Yesterday, I did some "play therapy" with her (thanks Jocelyn) and came to the conclusion that she is afraid of monsters in her room. She hasn't verbalized this yet, but it was VERY apparent through her play that this is the issue. We will be giving her a few more night lights in her room, but were wondering if anyone else has any magical ways of ridding monsters from her room? Please feel free to leave some advice..we are desperate (for sleep)!

On another note, we have been spending some time up at the lake. It is a GREAT place for small kids because it is only 2 feet deep for most of the length of the pier. Kylie loves going underwater and thinks she is a pro swimmer now. Cooper found a butterfly and just played with it for a while. Thought I would include a pic of him...a cute one this time!
a bad booboo
Cooper had his first head trauma experience last night. He decided to dive out of Kylie's power wheels jeep (it wasn't moving) and landed on his head in the rocks. I had my back turned and Zach had the air compressor going so I didn't hear him. When I looked, he had blood running down his head. He has a pretty nasty bruise (which has improved) and a gash on his head. Alas, we did not need to go to the docs and he seems to be doing fine. Stitches may have been needed, but it is in his hair and it should cover as he grows.

Baby "Boof" cloths
I haven't "advertised" my Baby "Boof" Cloths on my blog yet, so here it goes....
My Baby "Boof" Cloths are made to catch all those messy burps. They are made from flannel fabric backed with terrycloth. You can choose any flannel fabric and I will pick a coordinating terrycloth for the back. They come in packages of 2, 4, and 6 and I make them all by hand!! These make great baby shower gifts for someone. So, please feel free to contact me for more information @ brooker18@hotmail.com .
